SponsorBoard MCP server
Ask your AI assistant who sponsors podcasts in your trade, and get answers you can check. The SponsorBoard MCP server gives Claude, Cursor and any other assistant that supports MCP read-only access to the same public records as this site. No sign-in, no key.
Server address
https://thesponsorboard.com/mcpStreamable HTTP. Most assistants let you add a remote or custom MCP server, or a “connector”, by pasting this address.
Connect it
- Claude. Add a custom connector in Claude’s settings and paste the address above.
- Claude Code. Run:
claude mcp add --transport http sponsorboard https://thesponsorboard.com/mcp - Cursor and other clients with a JSON config. Add:
{ "mcpServers": { "sponsorboard": { "url": "https://thesponsorboard.com/mcp" } } }
What you can ask
- “Which companies sponsor short-term rental podcasts, and which are still buying?”
- “What podcast promo codes has squarespace.com used, and on which shows?”
- “My show is about restaurant operations. Which trade board fits, and who is on it?”
Every answer links back to the board or brand page it came from, with the date the records were read through, so you can open the evidence and cite it.
Tools
| Tool | What it returns |
|---|---|
list_trades | Every trade board, with its key, how many companies were recorded and how many names are public. |
get_trade_board | One board's public sponsor names, how many shows each covers, the longest run and the last observed date. |
search_sponsors | Find a company's public page by name or domain. |
get_sponsor | One company's public shows with first and last dates, recorded offers and recorded promo codes. |
What it will not tell you
- Names a free board does not show. The server carries the free boards: a sample of names on each. A paid plan opens every name, on the website.
- Rates, spend, audience figures or contacts. We do not have them, here or on the site.
- Absence. Not finding a company does not mean it never sponsored a show. The records follow established English-language business, technology and trade shows, not every podcast.
