Privacy
Short version: you can read every page on this site without telling us who you are. We count page visits without cookies. If you sign in with Google we hold your name and email address, and if you subscribe, which plan you are on. That is all.
What we collect
When you visit, we count page views with Vercel Web Analytics: the page path (without anything after the “?”), the page that linked you here, your country, and your browser, operating system and device type. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Visits are told apart by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so we cannot follow you from one day to the next, and we only ever see the totals, never a list of visitors.
If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your name, email address, profile picture link, and an account ID. We store those, plus the time you signed up. While you are signed in we also keep a session record with the IP address and browser description it was opened from, so a stolen session can be spotted and ended. We ask Google for nothing else: no contacts, no calendar, no access to your mail.
If you subscribe, payment is handled by Creem, our reseller and merchant of record. You give your card and billing details to Creem, not to us, and we never see your card number. Creem tells us a customer ID, which plan you bought, its status, and the dates the current period starts and ends, so we know whether to open the full board for you.
Cookies
Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in (and, during sign-in itself, a short-lived one that protects the Google redirect). They are needed for the account to work and are not used for anything else. If you never sign in, we set no cookies.
Apart from the cookie-free visit counts above, we do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies, and we do not build a profile of you. Our hosting provider keeps standard server request logs (such as IP address and the page requested) for security and operations; we do not use them to identify visitors.
What we use it for
Your account and plan are used to show you the full board and to manage your subscription, nothing more. We may email you about your plan (for example, a price change); that is not marketing. We will not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone for their own use, and we will not add you to any mailing without asking first.
Where it is kept
The site is hosted on Vercel, which also runs the visit counts, and accounts and plans are stored in a Turso database; both act only on our instructions. Sign-in is handled by Google and payments by Creem, each under its own privacy policy. Mail you send us is handled by Proton Mail. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Account and plan details stay until you ask us to delete your account. Creem keeps its own payment records for as long as tax law requires, which we cannot shorten. A session record is removed when you sign out or when it expires.
Your choices
Write to sponsorboardsupport@proton.me from the address you signed in with and we will delete it, tell you exactly what we hold, or correct it — usually within a few days, and always within 30. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If this changes
If what we collect changes, this page will change before it does, and the date below will move. If you have an account we will tell you.
